Cadet Mohit Knathia of NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh maintained edge in a very demanding Mountaineering Course at Darjeeling. Cadet Mohit of GDC Kathua belonging to 4 JK NCC Battalion of Jammu Group excelled amongst 42 candidates by finishing at the Podium as the Best Student on the Course.
According to a Jammu-based defence spokesperson Lt Col Suneel Bartwal the
Cadet excelled in 14 Km Physical Endurance Test, Glacier and Ice Climbing, Sports Wall
Climbing,Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Rock Craft, Tent Pitching, Map Reading, Written Tests and Discipline. The effort by the cadet complimented by the right selection and continuous motivation by the Battalion Commander, Colonel Ram Madhukar Sharma and ANO Lt Daya Ram speaks volumes about the involvement of all stakeholders in facilitating the Victorious Will amongst the Cadets. Such performances go a long way in sustaining the motivation and inspire many cadets to challenge their human efforts through their indomitable spirit built over a period of time.
This performance would serve as an inspiration to more students from the institutes to live their dreams by joining and excelling in the NCC.
