Jammu, August 25: The Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, Dr. Syed Moin-ul-Haq concluded a day tour/visit of District Rajouri. During the visit Director Sheep Husbandry Department Jammu, inspected VAS Office Sunderbani, Noweshra and DSHO office Rajouri.
He inspected prefabricated Hut at Sunderbani, construction site at VAS office Complex Sunderbani and interacted with officers/officials of the department.
He inspected Commercial Sheep Unit (50 animals) established under HADP during 2023-24 in favour of Sh Abdul Rashid S/O Kalu Khan R/O Laman Sunderbani .
He inspected Goat unit established under ISDS (20 animals) during 2023-24 in favour of breeder Yog Raj son of Beli Ram resident of Seri Andrari Nowshera Rajouri, Goat Unit established under ISDS(20 animals) in favour of breeder Mohammed Salim son of Fazal Din, resident of Dabbar Potha Seri Nowshera.
Director Interacted with the breeder Beli Ram son of Sain Das, resident of Bhakhar Sunderbani and inspected Artificial Insemination born Progeny of (04 Kids).
Director, reviewed the functioning of the department in the district and interacted with FPO members and advised them to make FPO functionally active for the welfare of Sheep/Goat breeders. Director Sheep Husbandry Department also interacted with all VASs of District Rajouri and directed them to work with zeal and enthusiasm for the welfare of Sheep/Goat breeders of the area.
Later he inspected CFC wool at VAS office complex Saim Smith District Rajouri and interacted with the staff and directed the concerned staff to make CFC functional.
A warm welcome was also accorded to Director during his visit in Rajouri District.
